Pellet of hybrid electric airsoft gun uses shell casing. The shell casing has a red primer on the back instead of the normal cylinder pellet. The shell casing uses a mini explosion to create high pressure. The shell casings are loaded into the magazine.
Firing Mechanism of the Hybrid Electric Airsoft Gun
Hybrid electric airsoft gun has a similar firing mechanism to real firearm. When the trigger is pulled, the firing pin is release and hit back of the shell casing then a mini explosion create high pressure inside the shell casing thrust the pellet.

When the trigger hit the red primer back of the shell casing, the explosion is created and it makes the smoke effect.
